Former Sidley Austin Tax Attorney John Pridjian Named Partner at Anderson

John V. Pridjian has been named partner to the International Tax Practice of the Anderson professional services firm.

The firm’s International Tax Practice is located in Los Angeles.

Formerly a tax attorney with Sidley Austin Brown & Wood, Pridjian will advise companies on the complexities of international commerce to enable them to create and maximize their business and tax opportunities in his new capacity at Andersen.

“Pridjian’s deep and extensive experience in the field of international tax makes him extremely qualified for this position,” Andersen Pacific Southwest Managing Tax Partner Dennis Krock said in a statement.

During his time at Sidley Austin, Pridjian represented large companies in corporate mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, joint ventures, and cross-border investment transactions.

Pridjian, a CPA, is the past chair of the International Tax Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar.

He is a regular speaker and writer on domestic and international tax subjects, having spoken at events for the California Society of CPA’s, the American Bar Association, and the UCLA Entertainment Tax and Finance Institute.

Pridjian received his law degree from the University of Illinois and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
