Attorney Honored

 

Beverly Hills attorney Sassan Masserat on Thursday was bestowed by Italian Consul General Silvia Chiave with the Degree of Officer within the Order of the Italian Star. The commendation reads: “The bond between attorney Masserat and our country, felt with particular intensity and pride, has further deepened over the past few years, during which he has extended great service to the General Consulate of Italy in Los Angeles, a commitment which he has carried forward with generous professionalism. Within this context, he fully met what was expected of him, offering his clients and the public humanity and competence that earned him the appreciation of the entire Italian and Italian-American community. [¶] For the excellent results obtained during his career, for the precious support provided to this Consulate on multiple occasions, the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella has conferred upon attorney Sassan Masserat the honor OSI [Ordine Stella d’Italia] in the degree of Ufficiale [Officer].” Masserat was reared in Bologna, Italy, and moved to Los Angeles in 1992. After a brief career in investment banking, he graduated from Southern Law School and has been practicing law for the past two decades, focusing on business and real estate matters (transactional and litigation).
