Judge Bruce Brodie Retires

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Bruce E. Brodie’s last day on the bench is today.
He will officially retire on Feb. 24.
His tenure on the bench was short. Brodie was appointed in 2017 by then-Gov, Jerry Brown.
He received his law degree from Southwestern in 1979. He was an alternate public defender for 23 years.
Brodie did not respond to an inquiry as to his plans.
