Ann I. Park Says She Would Decline Commissionership

Ann I. Park of the Monrovia law firm of Foley & Mansfield said yesterday that if offered a post as a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner during her year as president of the Los Angeles County Bar Associatiuon, with her term beginning July 1, she will decline.
Park is third on the court’s eligibility list for appointment, behind Montrose attorney Debra Lynn Gonzalez and Deputy Los Angeles County Counsel Jennifer Baronoff.
Others on the list are, in order of standing: Lucia Murillo, Philip Peng, Pamela Dansby-Darden, James Montgomery, Syna Dennis, Michelle Lim, Latrice Byrdsong, Karine Mkrtchyan, and Lawrence Hafetz.
Commissioners are chosen through balloting of the judges. Park is slated to be ceremonially installed June 23.
