Goldman Confirmed As Court of Appeal Justice

Jeremy M. Goldman was confirmed yesterday by the Commission on Judicial Appointments as a justice of Div. Four of the First District Court of Appeal.
The commission was comprised of Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, Attorney General Rob Bonta, and the First District’s administrative presiding justice Jim Humes.
He was sworn in by California Supreme Court Justice Leondra Kruger, who was a law school classmate of his at Yale.
Goldman fills the vacancy created by the elevation of Justice Alison Tucher to the post of presiding justice of the First District’s Division Three.
He was co-chief of appellate litigation at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, where he worked since 2014.
