LACBA Says Election Results Aren’t Immediately Available

Results of the electronic balloting for the office of Los Angeles County Bar Association president-elect, which ended on Tuesday one minute before midnight, will not be immediately known, the association said yesterday.
“The official results will be announced no later than June 9, 2021,” it said in an email to members. Votes are being tallied by an outside company.
The contest is between Metropolitan News Company President/General Counsel Jo-Ann W. Grace and Foley & Mansfield partner Ann I. Park.
The victor will take office on July 1 and will automatically ascend to the presidency one year later.
