Teresa Sánchez-Gordon, who retired as a Los Angeles Superior Court judge in 2017, is now a partner in the Irvine law firm of Bond Sáchez-Gordon which is seeking to draw clients through marketing. Above is a billboard promoting the firm. Its phone number is 1-833-THE JUDGE. Sáchez-Gordon is variously referred to on the firm’s website as “Judge Sánchez-Gordon,” “Judge Teresa” and “Judge Teresa Sánchez-Gordon (ret.).” The website advises: “During the 20 years she served as a judge at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Judge Sánchez-Gordon saw a wide variety of civil cases….” She was actually a member of the Superior Court for 17 years; Sánchez-Gordon was elected to the East Los Angeles Municipal Court Nov. 5, 1996, took office Jan. 6, 1997, and became a Superior Court judge on Jan. 24, 2000 through unification. Spider Marketing Group of Grand Rapids, Mich. lists Bond Sánchez-Gordon as one of its clients. |
