Joint Bar Meeting Held on Getting Laws Passed
A joint program of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (“LACBA”) and the Beverly Hills Bar Association (“BHBA”) on how to to propose new laws or change old ones through the California Conference of Bar Associations (“CCBA”)—which vets proposals from delegates of bar groups statewide—was held Tuesday night.
Introduced to the audience are, from left, Jennifer Kim, chair of the CCBA; Stan Bissey, executive director of the Los Angeles County Bar Association; Michelle Anderson, chair of LACBA delegation to the CCBA; Larry Doyle, CCBA lobbyist; Jo-Ann Grace, vice president of LACBA; and Holley Parker, delegate from the BHBA.
