Langston Bar Association Inducts Five Into Hall of Fame

A capacity crowd attended the 27th annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony staged Saturday by the Langston Bar Association. Inductees were attorneys Ernestine Forrest, Carmen D. Hawkins, James I. Montgomery Jr., Cal P. Saunders, and W. Keith Wyatt. V. Ahda Sands chaired the Hall of Fame Committee. |

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Kelvin D. Filer served as emcee. |
Filer holds up a tee-shirt which he said he would give to any honoree who did not exceed his or her allotted time, and would hold in contempt anyone exceeding the limit. Tee-shirts were presented to all, with excessive speech-making forgiven. |
