By a MetNews Staff Writer

The Libertarian presidential candidate, Gary Johnson, has said that three Californians are on his short list for appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Those incurring his favor are:

•Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Alex Kozinski;

•Former California Supreme Court Justice Janice Rogers Brown, now a judge of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit;

•Former U.S. Rep. Tom Campbell, R-Calif., now dean of Orange County’s Chapman University School of Law.

The other two on his list are Miguel Estrada, an attorney in the District of Columbia office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, who is an inactive member of the State Bar of California, and Professor Jonathan Turley of George Washington University Law School in D.C.
