Governor Brown Re-Appoints Lawyer Leviton to FEHC

West Hollywood attorney Stuart L. Leviton will continue to serve on the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, if confirmed by the Senate, the Office of Gov. Jerry Brown announced yesterday.

Leviton, a Democrat, has been serving on the board since 2008, having been appointed by Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is presently vice chair.

The attorney has been a partner at Reed and Davidson LLP since 2006, as well as maintaining his own firm, Leviton Law Group APC, which he founded in 2004.

Leviton has lectured in business law and business ethics at the American Jewish University since 2006.

He obtained his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in May 1993. He was notes editor for the Texas Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
