Prosecutor Rated ‘Well Qualified’ For Superior Court
By a MetNews Staff Writer
A deputy district attorney running for Los Angeles Superior Court judge has been rated “well qualified” by the County Bar’s Judicial Elections Evaluation Committee, the candidate’s campaign consultant has reported.
David Gould said Deputy District Attorney Andrea Thompson received the second-highest possible rating from the committee.
Thompson is facing two other prosecutors—Deputy District Attorney Shannon Knight and Los Angeles Deputy City Attorney Matt Schonbrun—for the seat now held by Judge Judith VanderLans.
Knight and Schonbrun were both rated “qualified” by the committee.
