Holland & Knight, Arent Fox Add New Partners

Holland & Knight and Arent Fox yesterday announced the addition of new partners in their Los Angeles offices.
Senior counsel Karl J. Lott and associate Shelley G. Hurwitz were among those promoted at Holland & Knight on Sunday, while Victor P. Danhi joined the partnership of Arent Fox, also effective Sunday.
Lott is a member of Holland & Knight’s Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on commercial real estate transactional matters and real estate finance.
He holds an undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary, a master’s degree from Columbia University, and a law degree from UCLA. Lott was licensed to practice in California in 1990.
Hurwitz is a member of Holland & Knight’s Litigation Section. Her practice has primarily involved defending product manufacturers against individual and class action claims for personal injuries and property damage.
She also has represented defendants in numerous asbestos and toxic mold cases, and claims under California’s Proposition 65.
The attorney graduated from UCSD before attending law school at UCLA and joining the State Bar in 2001.
Danhi is part of Arent Fox’s automotive industry practice group. He represents national and regional automotive dealership clients in consumer class actions and complex litigation, federal and state regulatory matters, unfair competition claims, commercial and consumer litigation, and franchise disputes.
