Narcotics Officers Group Honors Carmen Trutanich

The California Narcotic Officers’ Association yesterday named Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich as its Prosecutor of the Year.
A spokesperson for Trutanich said the non-profit corporation, which provides narcotics enforcement training, selected the prosecutor for recognition specifically for his office’s work in the area of medical marijuana regulation.
Trutanich said that he was “so proud and honored to be accepting this on behalf of all the great attorneys and prosecutors in the Office who have worked so hard and accomplished so much in the battle against illegal marijuana shops and drug trafficking.”
He then singled out Senior Advisor Jane Usher, and Deputies Terry Kaufmann-Macias, Asha Greenberg, Steven Blau, Anh Truong, Colleen Courtney, Gregory Orland, Debra Gonzales, Heather Aubrey, MC Molidor, Peter King, Alan Blackman, Charles Sewell, Gita O’Neill, Maria Aguillon, Rebecca Gardner, Amy Brothers, Donna Wong, Ken Fong, Michael Bostrom, Tayo Popoola and Nancy Waxman for praise.
