Criminal Courthouse Building Slated to Reopen Today
By a MetNews Staff Writer
The Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center is scheduled to reopen today, after being evacuated yesterday morning because of a water leak, court officials said.
A broken pipe caused the boiler room to flood while a construction crew was working nearby, and necessitated the shutdown of all water service to the building, according to Associated Press reports.
All matters on calendar yesterday were adjourned and jurors were sent home.
Court officials said jurors are being asked to return tomorrow.
