LACBA Corporate Law Section Honors Rebecca Prentice

The Corporate Law Departments Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association yesterday announced its selection of Rebecca Prentice as this year’s recipient of its Outstanding Corporate Counsel Award.
Prentice has served as executive vice president and general counsel of the Paramount Pictures Corporation since 2006. She is a graduate of California State University Fresno and Cornell Law School, and was licensed to practice in 1982.
The award is scheduled to be presented at a dinner event on March 23 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, and donations to Loyola Law School and to Cornell Law School in honor of Prentice are planned, according to a release from the LACBA section.
Paramount Pictures’ chief operating officer, Frederick Huntsberry, is slated as the featured speaker for the event.
