Arent Fox LLP yesterday announced the addition of Christian J. Scali as a partner in the firm’s automotive and litigation practices in Los Angeles.
He made the lateral move from Manning, Leaver, Bruder & Berberich, which he joined in 1999.
Robert C. O’Brien, managing partner of Arent Fox’s local office, praised Scali as “an outstanding litigator who brings tremendous talent and experience to the firm and our clients.”
Aaron Jacoby, chair of Arent Fox’s national automotive practice, remarked that “the auto industry faces an extraordinary array of regulatory, competitive, and legal challenges” on a daily basis, so “it is critically important that our clients have access to the most innovative and effective legal representation and counsel available.” The addition of Scali “further strengthens and expands Arent Fox’s significant ability to do just that,” Jacoby said.
Scali’s practice focuses on business and class action consumer litigation at both the trial and appellate level, with an emphasis in automobile dealer law, franchise law, commercial law and trade secret issues, according to a firm release.
He joined the California State Bar in 1998 after graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and earning his law degree from Ohio State University.
