Arent Fox Adds Employment Attorney to Local Office

Arent Fox LLP yesterday announced the addition of veteran employment law attorney Carla Feldman as a partner in its Los Angeles office.
She made the lateral move from the downtown office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP.
Robert C. O’Brien, managing partner of Arent Fox’s Los Angeles office remarked that Feldman “brings a wealth of experience representing companies large and small in every aspect of employment law, and an impressive track record of success at trial, in arbitration, and with settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients.”
He said “California’s stringent employment laws create a potential minefield for employers,” so Feldman’s “creativity, dedication and skill within the courtroom and without are an invaluable for resource for businesses navigating through this thicket of regulation.”
Feldman’s practice focuses on single and multiple-plaintiff lawsuits and litigation avoidance strategies involving California wage and hour and federal Fair Labor Standards Act claims, according to the firm release.
She said she was attracted to Arent Fox because its Los Angeles office “houses the leaders of two national practice areas—automotive and white collar and investigations—and it has great litigators in many other practice areas.”
The attorney predicted that “my skills will fit well with my new colleagues in this fast-growing, dynamic firm.”
Feldman graduated from UC San Diego before attending the University of San Diego for law school and joining the State Bar in 1985.
