Los Angeles-based bankruptcy law firm Levene, Neale, Bender, Rankin & Brill has announced the addition of seven new attorneys to its roster—including six partners—as a result of its merger with Robinson, Diamant & Wolkowitz of Century City.

The firm said Tuesday that Lawrence A. Diamant, Edward M. Wolkowitz, Timothy Yoo, Irv M. Gross, Philip A. Gasteier and Todd A. Frealy have joined as partners, and that Carmela T. Pagay joined as an associate.

Co-managing partner David L. Neale said the merger, which was finalized earlier this month, was the “most dramatic development of our firm since its founding in 1995” and “enhances our basic concept of providing high-quality, personalized service while growing the firm’s business even in new directions.”

He predicted that the new attorneys would “enrich the firm with their experience and versatility and extensive history in trustee matters in both Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcies, as well as representing creditors, debtors, equity committees, investors, asset acquirers, assignees, trustees and receivers in state and federal court actions.”

As part of the merger, Levene Neale has also opened a new downtown Los Angeles office, the firm said, and absorbed Robinson Diamant staff in its Century City offices.
