By a MetNews Staff Writer

Best Best & Krieger LLP yesterday announced that it has hired five entry-level associates to join the firm’s municipal, environmental and business law practices in offices throughout Southern California.

All five had worked at the firm as summer associates in 2008. Jill Willis, a BB&K partner and chair of the firm’s recruiting committee, said their hiring “was delayed by a few months” but the firm was  “glad to be in a position now to welcome them aboard.”

Two attorneys, Amy Rodes and Cari Ann Valenstein, have joined the Los Angeles office’s municipal and redevelopment group.

Rodes is a 2009 graduate from Notre Dame Law School and Valenstein is a 2009 graduate from USC Law School. Both were admitted to the State Bar in December.

UCLA law alum Beverly A. Bradshaw will be joining the firm’s Riverside office and working in the environmental and natural resources group, while Benjamin Kearns, a graduate of Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School joins the Ontario office’s business litigation practice. They both graduated their respective schools in 2009 and earned their licenses last December.

A 2009 graduate of Loyola Law School, HongDao Nguyen will be based in the Irvine office and work with the municipal and redevelopment practice. She was admitted to practice in February.
