Governor Appoints Judge to Sonoma Superior Court

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday appointed Peter K. Ottenweller to the Sonoma Superior Court.
Ottenweller, 56, has been a sole practitioner since 1991. He served as partner for James, Gack and Freeman from 1984 to 1991 and as a member of the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office from 1982 to 1984.
He is a graduate of the New College of California and the UC Hastings Law School. Ottenweller was admitted to practice in 1982 and is a Democrat.
Compensation for this position is $178,789.
