Dykema Gossett Elects Local Attorney Member

National corporate law firm Dykema Gossett PLLC has elected Jon D. Cantor of its Los Angeles office to membership, the firm announced yesterday.

Cantor does both construction, real estate and general business litigation, as well as transactional work including real estate employment and entertainment contracts,

The firm credits him with having negotiated over 700 employment contracts with major animation studios including Walt Disney, DreamWorks, Sony, Warner Bros. and Fox, as well as negotiating a $100 million transaction to open the Fox Animation Studio in Arizona.

The Woodland Hills resident recently succesfully defended on appeal a $33,702.63 award of attorney fees against controversial self-proclaimed disability rights activist Jarek Molski.

Prior to joining Dykema, Cantor was a shareholder in his own firm and a sole practitioner for over 20 years.

 Cantor received his bachelor’s degree from California State University at Northridge and his law degree from the University of San Fernando Valley, where he was on the law review.

Dykema has nearly 400 attorneys and professionals located in offices in Los Angeles, Illinois, Michigan, Texas and Washington D.C.
