Governor Fills Judicial Vacancy In Solano County

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday named Assistant Solano County Counsel Wendy G. Getty to a judgeship in the Solano Superior Court.
Getty, 38, has served as assistant county counsel since 1997. Previously, she was an associate with the law firm of Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann & Girard from 1992 to 1997.
Getty is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara School of Law, with a bachelor’s degree from UC Davis. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Luis Villarreal.
