Government Offices, Courts To Close for Thanksgiving
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, a state and federal holiday.
Federal, state, county, and city offices will close, as will state and federal courts and all facilities of the Los Angeles County Law Library. There will be no mail delivery, and the MetNews will not publish.
Friday is a state holiday. State, county, and city offices and state courts will close.
Federal courts and offices will be open, but the clerk’s offices for the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court will accept emergency filings only. Clerks’ offices for the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and Bankruptcy Appellate Panel in Pasadena will operate normally.
The Mildred L. Lillie Law Library downtown will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but branch libraries will be closed. There will be mail delivery, and the MetNews will publish an abbreviated edition.
