Courts to Close for February Holidays

The Los Angeles Superior Court, this district’s Court of Appeal and other California state courts will close to tomorrow in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday, a state holiday. Federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Riverside, and the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, San Francisco and throughout the district, will remain open and will operate on regular schedules, as will the U.S. Postal Service and other federal offices. Los Angeles city and county offices will remain open. The Metropolitan News-Enterprise will observe its regular publishing schedule.
On Monday, Feb. 17, all federal and state courts, all federal, state and local offices and most banks will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day, a federal holiday. The Postal Service will not provide regular delivery. The Metropolitan News-Enterprise will not be published.
