Funeral Services Pending for San Dimas Attorney Raymond G. Lamb

Services are pending for San Dimas attorney Raymond G. Lamb, a partner in the Pomona Valley firm of Lamb, Morris & Lobello.

Lamb died Nov. 29. Cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

Lamb was the husband of Patricia Lobello, his law partner and former president of the Breakfast Club, a committee that seeks and promotes candidates for the State Bar Board of Governors.

Formerly a senior partner in the Pomona firm of Nichols, Stead, Boileau & Lamb, Lamb Lamb was a community leader, serving as president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Pasadena, and as chairman of the Executive Committee of the La Verne College Law Center. He was also a member of the boards of directors of Casa Colina Rehabilitation Hospital and the Pomona Downtown Business Association, the Community Chest, the United Fund, and the Campfire Girls.

He earned his law degree from USC and was admitted to the State Bar in 1943. He was also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.

He served as president and board member of the Pomona Valley Bar Association, as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and on many State Bar and Los Angeles County Bar Association committees.

He also was an active member of the Eastern Bar Association and the Italian American Lawyers Association.

He served for 50 years as general counsel for the Pomona Valley Protective Association.
