Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Adds Petrides In Expansion of Labor and Employment Practice

Thomas Petrides joins the law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart as partner today to head the Los Angeles office’s labor and employment practice.
He represents employers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including traditional labor proceedings and employment related litigation in state and federal courts.
Petrides focuses his practice on arbitrations, wage and hour laws, discrimination issues, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and other administrative agencies.
“Mr. Petrides brings unrivaled labor and employment laws expertise to our Los Angeles service portfolio,” Los Angeles administrative partner Paul Sweeney said.
Petrides views his transition to Kirkpatrick & Lockhart as “not just an opportunity to lead the employment and labor group of the Los Angeles office, but to be a part of K & L’s West Coast expansion,” Sweeney said.
Petrides received his law degree from the University of Southern California in 1984.
